Welcome

Myself, The Landscape Architect:

Innovative, caring, punctual, and trustworthy. These are all qualities that characterize professional Landscape Architects.
 
I have completed my third year in the Bachelors program at Ball State University, but already I feel I have learned many useful skills, and am constantly searching for opportunities to learn more. Project experiences at BSU have taught me how to use many common tools of the trade including hand drafting and rendering, ArcGIS, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD. Projects such as the Mounds Botanic Garden (a green-line train stop at Mounds State Park), and the Minnetrista Community Park (an inner city park complex design) have allowed me to continue developing these skills, and build on my personal creative writing knowledge. In each of these it was encouraged to create a vision statement that engaged the reader and made them feel like a visitor on our sites. These are but two examples of the creative writing techniques I have continued to use while at BSU.
 
Resources at BSU have also allowed me to broaden my awareness of current trends in the field of Landscape Architecture such as the green revolution, and the continual recreation of natural habitats. Specifically I am searching for a firm that would allow me to further my knowledge of these trends and others, and continue to learn innovative ways to present design ideas.
 
I am qualified for an internship according to BSU requirements, and will soon graduate. My practical experience and knowledge of Landscape Architecture procedures have prepared me to make immediate contributions to a firm dynamic.
